Hello and welcome to my website. 

My name is Kate and I’m a creative. Outside of putting pencil or paintbrush to paper or canvas, I try and bring creativity to my life every day. Whether it’s how I communicate with people, or how I problem solve, my creativity is my superpower. 

I remember growing up in Dubbo, I did a pretty good job at drawing the characters on the TV, mum and dad always encouraged me to keep drawing so I did just that. I progressed through pre, primary and high school working on my skills. When I graduated and moved to Sydney I continued to produce a wide range of works and experiment with different mediums and concepts. 

Drawing and painting brings me peace, my mind calms down. When I feel overwhelmed, this is one of my calming strategies and for a long time I would only draw or paint when I needed a quiet safe space, now I look forward to the days I set aside for my quiet time.
